CUSTOMER INFORMATION
Privacy policy
Current version: 9 September 2026.
Who processes your data?
The data controller is SIA TURO, registration No. 40203558907, Kalna iela 2–2, Stelpe, Stelpes pag., Bauskas nov., LV-3925, Latvija. For privacy matters, email siaturo@inbox.eu or call +371 26 738 751.
Enquiry form and communication
The form prepares text in your browser. Completing it does not send data to TURO. We receive information when you send an email or contact us yourself. This may include your name, email, phone number, company information, route, dates, passenger numbers and notes you provide. Please do not send passport copies, medical records or unnecessary sensitive information.
Purposes and legal bases
We use contact and journey details to answer your enquiry, prepare a proposal and perform the contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). Accounting and other statutory records are processed to meet legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)). Business correspondence, communication with company representatives, website security and the defence of legitimate claims rely on legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)), taking your rights into account. This form does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
Technical website data
The hosting provider may process your IP address, request time, requested page and technical browser information to deliver and secure the website. This website has no embedded advertising tracking, analytics or social media widgets. Fonts and images are served by the website itself. Browser session storage holds only temporary flags for the logo introduction and page transitions; these contain no enquiry contact details and expire when the browser session closes.
Recipients and transfers
Communication, hosting, accounting and other processing providers may access data where necessary. Information needed to deliver a journey may be shared with the people involved only to the extent required for their task and on an appropriate legal basis. Information may be disclosed to authorities where required by law. Where a provider’s service involves a transfer outside the EEA, a GDPR-compliant transfer basis and relevant safeguards are required.
Retention and security
We keep data for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, perform the service, meet accounting requirements or deal with legal claims. Retention depends on the type of information, contract performance and applicable statutory periods. Data no longer needed is deleted or anonymised. Access is limited according to responsibilities, with proportionate technical and organisational safeguards.
Your rights
Subject to the applicable conditions, you can request access, correction, erasure, restricted processing and portability, and object to processing. Where consent is the basis, you may withdraw it. Send requests to siaturo@inbox.eu. We may carry out a proportionate identity check. We respond without undue delay, normally within one month; if a lawful extension is necessary, we tell you why. You can complain to the Latvian Data State Inspectorate or another competent EEA supervisory authority.
Policy updates
We update this policy when website features or data processing arrangements change. The date of the current version appears at the top of this page.
